a lifetime of healing to share
My wellness journey began when I was diagnosed with rheumatoid arthritis, irritable bowel syndrome, acid reflux, chronic fatigue, fibromyalgia, hormone imbalances — and everything that comes with them. The only solutions the medical field could offer were prescriptions. But I was determined: this diagnosis would not define me.
I started searching for answers and began studying holistic therapies. I saw various alternative practitioners and was given a long list of treatments, but instead of getting better, I only became sicker.
Dr. Coca, an immunologist at Stanford University in the 1970s, researched possible causes of autoimmune conditions. His research revealed that many autoimmune issues started with food allergies, which opened a new door for me to consider. Dr. Coca proved that a general blood test or skin scratch test for allergies would not always successfully identify allergies or intolerances in a patient. Through his research, he discovered that the pulse would change as a reaction to a suspected food. Using Dr. Coca’s Pulse Technique, I identified my own allergies — and when I removed those triggers from my diet, the pain and gut symptoms began to disappear.

At first, I was simply trying to heal myself. But after experiencing such a profound transformation, I felt called to help others do the same. I continued my education in holistic health and have never stopped learning. After five years in private practice, I was invited to join Dr. Michael Kurtz’s clinic, where I’ve now worked for over 25 years.
Over the years, I’ve come to believe that medical and holistic approaches don’t have to be at odds — they can support and complement each other beautifully.
